Community Training for Climate Change Assessment Project
Community Training for Climate Change Assessment Project, which began in 2024, was founded with a strong commitment and inspiration to support communities and environmental networks both in Thailand and internationally. Its purpose is to monitor the pressing issues of global warming, rising global temperatures, and climate instability, enabling communities and individuals to prepare for and adapt to the accelerating changes in global climate conditions. A clear example is the shifting of seasonal patterns, which directly affects agricultural communities, as well as coastal fishing communities, who are increasingly unable to plan their work annually. These impacts extend broadly, disrupting livelihoods and global environmental ecosystems.
Community Training for Climate Change Assessment Project, for the year 2025 continues as a foundation initiative to provide training for youth and affected communities, as well as to organize public forums, academic conferences, and action-oriented workshops aimed at reducing global warming and fostering resilience in daily life. The project will be implemented from January to December 2025. During this time, the foundation will be responsible for securing funding, coordinating the project, and working in collaboration with environmental networks in Thailand and abroad. Activities include organizing academic public forums, practical workshops, and joint community-based events to support the collection and dissemination of climate change data and the promotion of community rights.
Project activities will be conducted from January to December 2025.
